The Start of Something Big
This is a book Ana and I have been dreaming of writing for 17 years. It is our love letter to the world.
Bio
What I Do
I have a passion for great writing. Excellence is one of my most cherished core values.
The exquisite beauty of a powerful idea expressed in words, whether through a single sentence or a 700-page novel, is something that has stirred my soul since as long as I can remember.
So . . . What I do: I search out transformational ideas and stories and bring them to life in words.

The Huffington Post Says I Have a Beautiful Wife
9-17-08 | Earlier this year I was interviewed by humorist, author and columnist Lisa Earle-McLeod. Author of the book Forget Perfect — Finding Grace When You Can’t Even Find Clean Underwear, Lisa is hysterical and quite delightful. (Check out her site and her “Perfect Minute” video essays.)
Photographic Memory
9-7-08 | It’s official: the wedding pictures are up for viewing on their own web site.
The Thing About Words
9-5-08 | Yesterday I bought a spare phone charger. At the register, I held out my debit card uncertainly at the card-swiping gizmo. The man behind the register saw my confusion and said, “Strip down. Facing me.” I paused, then repeated his words back to him. The woman at the next register burst out laughing.
To Korea, With Love
9-4-08 | Last month, when I saw the Japanese edition of The Go-Giver, I didn’t see how anyone else could possibly equal that amazing production, let alone top it. Then, a few days ago, the Korean edition arrived.
